  1. well, here are some links to some benchmark sites, i'd say get as many as you can, mosr are free, that way youll have them when people use diferent ones. Futuremark Sandra There, theres three ones you should get at Futuremark - 3DMark2001, 3DMark03, and PCMark04. At Sandras site, just get the free one. Its good to test individual parts. Hope that helps.
  2. ok thanks, i was thinking of liquid cooling, i just need to find the money. Yea, i was kind haisty whenm i was taking if off. Thanks.
  3. After i built my system, i went out and blew 100$ for microsofts new bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and i got hom and couldnt wait to try it out, after installing the software and restarting like, 7 times i got to try and conect, keyboard connected fine, and the mouse would NOT comect. No problem i though, i went back and returned it and got a replcement, well, it finaly worked, and i loved it. Then, after about a week of use, it died on my again, this time it was the keyboard. I decided enough was enough, and i got what i could for it and i got a Logitech wireless keyboard. I didnt have to instal anything and i have never had any problems. How like microsoft to release buggy crap. Well, i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Tell me what you think of my setup
  4. OK, well, first a story. I had just gotten the parts for my first build, and everything went togher fine, i thought, and when i turned it on, the alarm would go off and it would say CPU is unworkable, well, i took off the heatsink and the thermal paist stuck and i puled off the CPU to, and that was a really bad idea. When i inspected the CPU, i noticed that 4 of the pins were bent, i dont know if it was when i put it in or pulled it out, but i had to get a new one. Well now i'm getting into overclocking, and my CPU runs at 43-44c idle and 52-54 at load non OC'd, and i was wondering if it was worth the risk to take off the CPU cooler and laped it to try to get some better temperatures. If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to post them. Or any tips for Thermal paist or anything related to getting a CPU coler. Thanks. My computer, Tell me what you think.
