This is exactly what I found - a mate and I had both had Z5500s for a while and he thought he'd show me up "upgrading" to the Z906 but found no improvement.

I've had these for a while, excellent headset, not sure if they meet with your "air breathing" requirements tho. I've found that I can't game for more than a couple hrs without my ears getting uncomfortably hot and a bit irritated.

Hey Guys, Just putting together a computer for a mate on a supertight budget (no exactly limit but he wants it as cheap as possible) It will basically be used for net browsing, skype and playing HoN and potentially DotA2. I should be able to scrounge up a PSU and case for next to nothing out of stuff that i've got around but wanted some advice on the components. CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 255 CPU AM3 3.1GHz (65W) $61.00 HD: Seagate SATA 3 500GB 16m Cache $37.00 RAM: Mushkin 4G(2x2G) DDR3 1333MHZ PC3-10666 CL9 $35.00 MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P MB AMD 760G + SB710 5.2GT/s $62.00 GPU: Gigabyte HD6450 1G OC PCIE HDMI DP $59.00 Total: $254.00 Im just trying to figure out whether this build will be able to handle wat it will be used for. Could potentially spend a bit more money for these components: GPU: Gainward GT430 PCI-E2.0 1GB DDR3 DVI HDMI DX11 $58.00 HD: Seagate SATA 3 500GB 16m Cache $37.00 RAM: Mushkin 4G(2x2G) DDR3 1333MHZ PC3-10666 CL9 $35.00 MB: Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 H61 L1155 2x DDR3 SATA2 USB2.0 HD Audio mATX $70.00 CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10Ghz 3MB Cache LGA1155 CPU $117.00 Total: $317.00 But as i said, very tight budget so if the first build is good enough then ill probably stick with that. Prices are from umart.com.au Cheers for your help

I've recently got myself a RAT 9 and so far very pleased with it. Feels really good in my hand moves well on the mousepad. Customisable features are very cool i've tried a bunch of different combinations so far and found one thats perfect for me! all the extra accessories and pieces some in a nice metal case to which is handy for keeping it all together. Oh and it looks sick . the profile editing software is excellent as well and really easy to use and you can very precisely adjust the dpi to a level that works for watever you're doing! I can't really comment on the static issue but i've had no problems with that myself, but the only minor con i could mention is probably the battery life - the only other wireless mouse i've owned was a Logitech MX Revolution which was excellent with battery lasting over a week most of the time even with heavy gaming. Sometimes the RAT 9 doesn't even manage a night if im laning/gaming a lot but most of the time i change it every 1-2 days. Having said that, its not a very big issue just cos of the extra battery always at hand and so easy to swap out.

Good choice on the Vespula. Have been using mine for a couple of months now for a variety of games and it works brilliantly.

Hey Guys, Just to start off I'm from Aus and a new member at OCC but have been reading for a fair while. Been building computers for a couple of years now, will try and post the details of my main rig in my signature when I get a chance. At the moment I'm thinking about building a NAS server for my sharehouse. Having never build one before I was hoping I could get some feedback on whether this setup will work or not! Probably going to be running FreeNAS (http://freenas.org/FreeNAS) and will obviously want to provide room for further HD's (most likely going to start with 2x2g). All the parts below were sourced from www.umart.com.au : Mobo: Asus M4A78LT-M-LE, AMD 760G/AM3/mATX HD: Samsung 2TB Spinpoint F3/4EG EcoGreen HDD 32M PSU: SeaSonic M12II 520W 80+Modular PSU RAM: Mach Xtreme 4GB (2x2G) Copper DDR3 1333Mhz CL9 CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 255 CPU AM3 3.1GHz (65W) El-Cheapo Case: CoolerMaster Centurion RC330 Elite Black with No Power Supply(RC-330-K Cheers!
