  1. I've seen the site with the crappy . black and white photos. The external zip is a bit different. Once you're inside, there isn't any stickers. I think I might skip modding this puppy. Just gonna vinyl dye it.
  2. I've been able to open the box, but getting to the pcb seems imposible. I can't get the reader off without damaging anything. Please help.
  3. Get the zalman and swap the fan that comes with it for a panaflo. I have vantec stealths and they have a bit of a whine at higher rpms. After you get the zalman, I bet you'll notice how loud your PS is. Problem is, quiet PSU's are not cheap. You might want to mod the one you have and swap in a panaflo fan. The quest for a quiet case is never ending. VIA Epias are ok if you want to use your computer for basic things. Forget about gaming and other stuff. Yoou'll probably be better off underclocking you cpu.
  4. Maybe next time I buy from newegg I'll tack some LEDs to the order. I'm sure the voltage is nowhere close to 12V on that mouse where I'm plugging this LED. The guide I followed used the same mouse and LED I have. In their case the mose worked. I think I either reversed the polarity or I burned / blew some circuit.
  5. I'm gonna try a lower voltage led. Anybody have a link for a low voltage blue led with a high mcd?
  6. So I followed the guide on this page http://www.twistedmods.com/modules.php?nam...rticle&artid=37 Problem is I can't get the crap thing to work. So my first thought was I screwed up on the soldering since it's my first time. But then I got curious and check to see if the leds I got (same as the ones in the guide) would work with my other mouse. I just piggy backed the led on the existing and just as I thought, it didn't work. So I tried the old red led from the other mouse. That one worked fine. Here's the link the the leds I got. http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cata...%5Fid=276%2D316 My guess is that I need a lower voltage led, but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for any help.
