  1. Thanks for the info, I'm currently looking at getting the OCZ Vector 128GB I think
  2. I've been looking into upgrading (actually re-upgrade) to an SSD recently, but I'm worried about the reliability of them. When I built my PC back in late 2010 or so, I had built it with an SSD, a Corsair Nova 32GB I believe. The only thing I really used it for was the OS and a few applications (Firefox, for example). All was fine and the preformance was outstanding! Just barely a year later though, the drive died. So I've been using regular old hard drives for about a year now, but I really want that preformance back, it was the biggest thing I noticed when I had to switch back. I am, however a bit unsure if I trust these drives or not. Maybe its a bit silly to judge my views on them based on one experience, but a bad experience is a bad experience, right? My main question though, are they more reliable now, than when I bought my drive over two years ago? What drives are currently the best, in terms or their reliablity, preformance, and price? I'm currently looking at a Samsung 830 64GB Let me know your thoughts
  3. OMG I WON SOMETHING? Thanks! I've never won anything in my entire life
  4. I've never had any issues with Purolator, and I've received at least 4-5 packages from them
  5. Hey everyone, I'm having issues when trying to use recording software, such as Hypercam, or Cam Studio. To be able to record sound from your computer, you need to enable "stereo mix" as the recording device. The problem is, I don't seem to have it. I've done some researching online, and nothing has worked. I don't really know what to do, my drivers are updated, I've already right-clicked "Show Disabled Devices" in the Recording tab of the Sound menu. I'm stumped. Does anyone know of any other ways?
  6. I have the SteelSeries Ikari Laser mouse, the most comfortable mouse I've ever held. It has an adjustable DPI, and a high and low setting for the DPI
  7. Well, since the Noctua cooler is the best of the best, I'll probably go with it. The Prolimatech looks nice, but will end up costing more than the D-14 will once I purchase it, a couple fans, and the AMD bracket EDIT: I didn't mean to double post, I meant to hit edit the first time, but hit reply instead
  8. At least in my experience, cases are packed pretty well, and shouldn't get damaged in transit. You'd probably be safe.
  9. Does Prolimatech have something against AMD? I shouldn't have to buy a separate adapter to use on my AMD processor
  10. So I have my computer now, and I'm still using the stock heatsink... I want to do some overclocking on my Phenom II x4 955BE. I'm not sure what cooler to get though, I was going to get a Noctua NH-D14, but I was told that AMD processors don't kick off much heat, and I would probably be fine with a Corsair H50. There's also the Coolit ECO, which I heard was pretty good, and the V6 GT seems to preform quite well too. So, I'm lost in a sea of choices, and I hope some of the members here can help me choose
  11. Easily the best MMO I've ever played so far.
  12. Sorry, I was at work, so I couldn't respond. Here are my components: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Noctua NH-D14 Cooler ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI Motherboard G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1600 Memory MSI Cyclone GeForce NGTX 460 1GB Corsair Nova 32GB SSD Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB HDD ASUS 24X DVD Writer Corsair TX750 750W PSU Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Cooler Master HAF 932
  13. I recently got my new computer, and it had been running fine for a week. But recently it's been crashing, freezing and sometimes even failing to post. Usually what happens is, I start it up, and it usually posts, sometimes it doesn't, and I get into Windows, and it will either freeze in just a few seconds, after a few minutes, or last for hours before it will crash. On one attempt to start up, I got 1 long beep, and 3 short ones, it doesn't always do this. I've looked it up, and it says that I might have a bad video card. I don't know what to do right now. RMA it, or try to get it to work I have an ASUS mobo, and a MSI Cyclone GTX460 1GB
