  1. Not going to happen. At least not with any speed involved.. With my above post I was paying about $90 per month.
  2. Yes its at 66 It solved my problems with the system crashing before... Just an FYI... Thoes crashes would for the most part happen when using a 3d app or game
  3. Ok I have this small problem. I'm currently running Windows 2000 with latest patches etc. (Sig shows hardware config) As I try to bump my overclock inch by inch up over time. I found this little problem. I decided to do some online Battlefield gaming and wanted to plug in my ForceFeedback joystick. I did and windows didn't reconize it. The control pannel didn't see the joystick. So I would click "add" and it would then try to detect the joystick. A second or two later the computer would freeze. Now I thought this was odd. Sense the High OverClock I have had NO PROBLEMS what so ever with anything in my system. Even 24/7 benchmarking with no problems. The system seems to be 100% stable. I then downstepd the overclock now at 4.283Mhz the system works with the Joystick and autodetected no problem. I felt that there was some autodetection problem with the HighOC. Now that the driver is installed I then bumped back up to 4.4. Rebooted and as the system was starting up, Getting past the Login and as Taskbar applications load up. I get to a few that communicate with the USB port. Freeze. Now at this point I don't know what I can do other then keep it back down at 4.283 but I would much rather get back to the 4.4+ Anyone else out there ExtreamOCing have a simular problem? Any sugestions would be welcome. I'm hoping that its something I've misssed like turning off some Bios thing that is causing the issue. Oh one other thing I have found. The Asus Prob (ver. 2.23.01) occasionaly will looses communications with some of the fan monitoring or will give false temp readings. I think this is a related issues somehow with the HighOC. Not really a problem becasue it will return to normal in a second or two or a restart of the prob will return to normal. My question here is, are the winbound monitors bus related IE the USB or serial? If so the possaly the OC is causing this issue too.
  4. I was on Satalite connection for about 2 years... I've never herd of Satalite DLS. What I had was two way satalite communications. The best proformance I've seen with it was about 900kb down and 12kb up. Now that was with Starband or as we love to call it Suckband. It was more unstable then anthing I've connected with. You can not play any Online games. PERIOD... The latencey is because of the 23,000 mile distance to the Satalite and back. My ping times just to the Host (Downlink side) was at best 900ms. You think a 56K has low Pings... ROFL. With Starband they do not allow a Upload of port 80. P2P sotware does not work well ether. Depending on what you whana do.... If you want faster page loads then a 56k then get it.. If you wana play online games and surfe now and then stick with 56k. The host machine you use also has to use a PPoX type software to make the packet structure larger and deal with the latency issues.
  5. Yeah, I emailed a guy with another MachII and he said that for some reason Windows messes up reporting anthing @ 4.3+ Ghz. The Bios reports the correct speed.. Other software is reporting the correct speed too.. Now I just have to figure out where and what is up with the nnventiv control software. As far as Folding.. I don't have the system up that long.... LOL I have tryed it though. Oh I didn't think that this thread would be that far of topic... this was the closest thread for a Vapor cooling unit I could think of. Oh on another OFF topic thing... http://www.nventiv.com/ I think was hacked or they are officualy down... I checked with Internic and their domain records had been hacked.
  6. Hi all, I'm having a bit of a probelm. Well sense nVentiv is prolly gone now. (there website hasn't come backup yet). I've been in the process working on slowly bumping my system up. Currently a 3.4 Nortwood @ 4.3Ghz. My problem is now that I've hit the 253 bus speed, the display on the Mach II now only displays 5 Mhz. All other tests and bios reports I'm at the 4.3 Ghz. Has any one gone this far and had the same problem? If so do you have a resolution to the display problem? I could just ignor the CPU speed setting and have the display display something else. But hey if it worked then why not now?
  7. Ok well if that is a thumbnail then I would say Shrink it! LOL Doh I didn't notice the Click. I was tired and you wouldn't expect to click that larg of a thumnail...
