Seagate 2TB SATA 6Gbps Hard Drive Tested

It is nice Seagate is offering their 5 year warranties again but I'd prefer the 2TB Barracuda LP. $300 for what I'd call a storage drive (even though it performed admirably) is a tad steep.

I still like one OS and one or more storage drives. (Though for an all in one solution, the price makes a little more sense.)

I want to see theoretical speeds become a reality.

I think it'll be a while before a single drive hits 600 MB/s (well, a little less since SATA II actually maxes out around 260 MB/s)

:(

Sata 3 Gbps is maxed out at ~270 MB/s but Sata 6 Gbps is maxed out at twice that at roughly 540 MB/s. :)
