  1. Yeah I searched a bit around, but I figured it'd be better to make my own thread instead of typing all my specs and stuff in an excisting thread. This also because I am worried about my CPU and RAM not matching or something. I'll look up your thread Edit: Care to link the thread? You post so much so it would be a pain to find.. Call me lazy but it's so wasy to be lazy! And thank you too!
  2. Hello I will open with a list of my hardware, before you ask. NZXT Phanton cage (so you know the airflow is Good) ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Intel i7 3820 Quad @3,6GHz 4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM 1866MHz (Quad channel setup) 2 x nVidia GTX 680 (EVGA Superclocked+ in SLi) Corsair H100 CPU cooler (In Push-pull at the top of the cabinet) Corsair Force SSD 256GB 2 x 1TB Western Digital HDD 7200RPM Corsair HX1050 PSU Fans in every optional spot on case. OK! Let's get started on the problems, or questions. But first... Is there anything incompatible in this list? I tried to make it compatible, and the system is running, but I fear something is wrong... OK, when I try going into BIOS and looking at the CPU frequencies and RAM timings, the CPU is at 3,6GHz, as is default, but the RAM is set to 1300MHz. All my attempts to bring CPU higher and/or RAM up to it's 1866 default have failed, crash during POST. I have tried changing all the setting I could find in the ways I could think of (at least the ones that seemed reasonable)... The CPU level-up function also causes crash. During idle CPU is at 21 degrees celcius, and dosent go alot over 30 during "load" (BF3, SC2, Skyrim, all on ultra settings). I don't understand this, please help me! (I am sorry to all of you out there who take this more serious then I do. I just had too much money to spend and wanted a computer that would last. I know the CPU is the weakest link and so and so, and feel free to give me critique and suggestions, educate me!) (And on a side note, I have tried updating to Win8, but the installation freezxes on the Windows splash screen after first reset.)
