razor Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 solid review, ccokeman I got these from Newegg earlier this week, and havent had opportunity to play a little until now. same kit as was reviewed - 2x2gb Mushkin Redline DDR2-1000. I say - Way To Go Mushkin!! with a little tweaking, these sticks helped me break my personal SuperPi and Geekbench records - and at a lower CPU clock! it should also be noted that my prior personal records were achieved using Crucial Ballistix - so I think it would be fair to say that anyone considering a RAM upgrade should heavily consider picking up a Mushkin Redline kit. I'm gonna continue to play w/them throughout the weekend - I'd like to see if I can get these performing at the same high level with 1.9v, down from the 2.11v I used in the following screenshots. I'll also see how far I can push the speed on mine - more results to follow... anyhow, to the screenies - SuperPi 13.268s - GeekBench 6381 -
