I have recently built a new rig and have installed windows 7 64bit, when I turn it on from a cold start it will start to load windows showing the windows logo then it will restart and give me the options: Repair Windows (recommended) Start Windows Normally If I go for a repair it asks if I would like to perform a system restore but I don't really see the point as I only installed windows yesterday. Then when I decline it carries on trying to repair and basically says it can't. Then it offers the send error report dialog which I did. However If I just choose the start windows normally instead of Repair it will boot in to windows and work fine. Has anyone see this issue before and know how to resolve it. Or anyone have any suggestions. I was going to try and run a system repair tonight with the disc to see if that will fix the issue. Do you think it could be a hardware issue? Thanks Guys

Hey guys, I've been told that the only version of nero that works with Win7 is 9 Reloaded, I got Nero Essentials with my DVD writer and now i'm upgrading i'm to Win 7 I don't think its going to work anymore, so can someone give me some recommendations of free CD/DVD/Lightscribe Software. This drive seems to be dubbed as a Laptop HDD I know its a 2.5inch drive but how come it is being marketed as a laptop drive and not an all rounder?

As the topic title which HDD is the fastest/best for gaming system out of these drives, I cant afford/justify a raptor or SSD. I have a Sapphire Radeon 4870 512mb PCIe2 Card and I downloaded the latest BIOS from the sapphire website. Its says I need to boot the system into pure dos mode which as far as i'm aware you can't do with vista. Can someone please advise me on how to flash the bios. Thanks guys Brad

I have just sent my RAM back to OCZ because of many issues i have been having with it The kit was : OCZ ReaperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C6 1333MHz Dual Channel 1333mhz 6-5-5-18 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) @ 1.85v The kit they intend on replacing it with is: OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 Reaper 1600mhz CL 7-7-7-24 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) @ 1.65v The timings are nowhere near as tight but the clock speed it faster, is this a good swap or should I demand something better? I bought the card off of ebay and some of the heatsinks are damaged i was going to replace them but they are stuck on pretty well, i would imagine by a paste/adhesive like you have mentioned, is there anyway of getting these off the chips? Thanks Brad

would you recommend thermal adhesive pads or are they a bad idea? Also once you stick a heatsink to the memory is there anyway of getting it off without ripping the chip off the board? Thanks again Brad

I bought a second card from ebay and it had a water block attached, the original heatsink was removed but the fan on its own was still plugged in. The gy said it had something to do with the fact that the card doesn't run without the fan plugged in. I just want to check this, i havent had a chance to test it yet as i have RMAed my ram and im waiting for them to send out the new stuff.

Hey Guys, I have been told that when you water cool a 4870 that the fan needs to stay connected or the card won't. I take it there is a way round this if its true can someone help me out. Thanks Brad

I have been told that my Vcore should be set to 1.22V for my q9450 but i'm confused with ccokeman's review of the intel chip which says he said "3.2GHz on 1.175 volts was a promising start for this chip" I am a noob so can someone please explain to me what this is all about. Thanks Guys
