  2. okay i'm new to OCing. i know that mp are not locked and some older xp aren't. and the ones that are i know how to tell that they are N how to unlock them. my recient MoBo is not OC friendly at all (Tyan s2466). so now i just got a msi mobo with a amd 64 939 cpu. i know that the mobo is OC friendly. but is the cpu locked? and if they are how do i unlock them?
  3. i just got a Asus A8V Deluxe with amd 64 3400 socket 939 for a good deal. i read that asus mobo is not good at overclocking. and the msi is good but a bit pricy is there any mobo thats good at OC or should i get the MSI? Also i was think of getting maybe kingston 1gb ddr pc 3200 or should i get 2x 512 ddr 3200?
  4. Okay i'm new to OC. i know this mobo is not OC friendly. but i need a dual processor for the program i'm using. it's a tyan tiger mpx s2466. with 2 amd mp 2800+. in the bio you can't really adjust anything. only the Vcore if you can get into it with supervisior mode. "which i don't know how to either." i tryed programs like cpucool, easytuner, Apogee. they can't acess the fsb or bios. the only thing that i was able to OC was my nVidia video card with coolbit. does anyone have any idea or know any program i can try?
