Consider this spot reserved... for when my illusive case finally arrives.

Case arrived Monday.

Was not expecting it to come in a retail box.

Whats inside?

Securely Packaged, Well done Tt.

Drum roll....

Sweet case. Now lets get it filled.

Side by side with old case(note both sides of the new case are removed.) Look at all the dust in there.

I started by stripping it down and routing all the fan cables..

And i discovered a rather irritating design flaw.

Anyone see it? You have to remove the front fan to access the quick tool-less 3.5 bay... It slides out to the front, not the back. there is actually a tab there that stops it going backwards. Brain fart someone.

I forgot to take any pics of the hardware going in, but here is the cable management mess i had to route.

Let me step back a sec, i did take one pic from putting the hard ware in. And it highlights another problem, and I'm not sure if the fault lies with Asus or Tt. My mobo I/O plate did not fit, it had to take pliers and crip all four sides drastically to fit. I say drastically, probably about 4mm. Still, unacceptable and annoying. And while trying to force the plate in before crimping it, it popped and i buried the corner tab in my finger.

I bled like a stuck pig...

Anyway, almost done now. And i realized i missed something.

Almost forgot to put the CPU fan back on.

And thats all the pics i have at the moment, will get some finished pics taken and up soon.

Should be much quieter without those two Deltas. :)

Your telling me. Though interestingly i have only gained about 2 degrees on the cpu and 6-8 on the gpus. And i think that was more dust removal than anything.

I've used Delta 120x38mm super-high speed as case fans before, while they cool like nothing else, the noise is just unbearable. Even on a controller, the drone gives you a headache after an hour.
