  1. I have a new desktop!

  2. I am using 6gb because this pc is a "stock" HP pavilion that i bought in '08. That is what the pc came with 6gb out of 8gb
  3. yeah the asking price is making me seriously consider an EVGA 131 x58 mobo and i7-960 instead of an AMD Phenom II x6 and this mobo... I want SLI not CrossFire... I dont like ATI cards bc i have never had good luck with them.
  4. the weights allow for better control when using higher Dpi Settings such as 2000 Dpi. Also the weights give me more prescion when needing a dedicated sniping platform for example when playing the few FPS i have on PC i go to the one of the lowest settings of dpi 200 and with the weights i am able to pull of headshots. keep in mind i have a microsoft Sidewinder mouse.
  5. I did care about MW3 but as soon as I saw the newest trailer, it looks like Modern Warfare just with a different skin... For example a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) "race" in New York Harbor - final level? also a Pickup truck side by side a subway... airfield mission in MW2. Either way GoW3 FTW for me this fall.
  6. I agree with you. I currently own an Micorsoft Sidewinder mouse (not a X5 or X8). I would go with the X8 because it has bluetrack which allows the mouse to track on any surface (-glass). It also allows for you to change the wieght of the mouse with various weight. I personally have 3 10g weights in my Sidewinder mouse. Take a look at amazon because you can find items there extremely cheap . For example the X8 is 48.90 USD compared to about 100 USD. 7. For the PC I am playing: Single player SP: Portal 2 SP: DoW2 series SP: Supreme Commander SP: Supreme Commander Forged Alliance SP: Supreme Commander 2 Multiplayer MP: Portal 2 MP: DoW2 series MP: Left 4 Dead 2 MP: COunter-Strike MP: BF 2 MP: BF 2142 MP: Company of Heroes For Xbox 360 (No i will not give out my Gamertag. Sorry) SP/MP: HALO Reach SP/MP: COD MW2 MP: GoW3 Beta when it was live For PS2 SP: Warship Gunner 2 (Naval Ops series)
  8. I would also say go with the 560 Ti. Take a look at the differenet manufactur of the 560 Ti and go with the better clock speed such as MSI (Twin Frozer), EVGA (Superclocked), or ASUS. Also there is no such thing as overkill
  9. Well i dont really like ATI/AMD... (personal reasons) and the mobo's that i am looking at are the MSI 890FXA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130274 and the GIGABYTE GA-890FXA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128441 however the processor is a challenge i am stuck between getting a Phenom x4 970 or a phenom x6 1100T. I am also considering getting an Intel DIY kit from newegg with a sabertooth mobo with a i7 quad core processor.
  10. Well being a College student i really dont have the funds to by a UPS . But i do have a surge protector but still.
  11. With my Schools "dirty" electriticty, my laptop screen has a large white burn that moves, so my screen is burned. Also I always want to have a good customer service rather than price. If i had to chose between two identical cards one with a lifetime warrenty and one that is cheaper, with my luck, i will go with the warrenty always.
  12. Greetings to all. I am new here, I enjoy your reviews of tech. I currently have a HP Pavilion a6650f Desktop in a Cooler Master Storm Scout Case, with 2 1 TB drives, and a Nvidia 7900 GS. I am also in college for Game Design and Development. So I need to upgrade sooner rather than later. I am currently thinking of a either an AMD 6 core system or an AMD 4 core system. I do have my mind set on getting an EVGA Nvidia GTX 560 Ti Crysis Maxium Graphics edition just because it is the perfect for me both in price and demand. But I will later on post the different ideas that i have for processors. Thank you for the reviews of the hardware please keep it up.
