Nemo Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Check out our latest review of the HD 4850 videocard from Sapphire that includes a custom cooling solution - http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/sa...re_hd4850_dual/
pkilway Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks for the review - I'm really intriguedby this card. But I have one problem, limited case space. I can't have a card over 9 inches long (my 8800GT is just that and it BARELY fits - the back of the power cable is mashed up against my SATA power cable for my hard drives). You would know by chance how long this card is, do you? It doesn't look like a reference board with a customer cooler, it looks like a custom layout. Thanks! Taken from the review:"The card is slightly shorter than the standard PCB so this should allow some additional clearance in tight cases." So yes, it is under 9 inches long and should fit into your case fine... Edited October 3, 2008 by Andrewr05
ccokeman Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 From the inside of the mounting bracket to the end of the PCB is 8 and 3/8th inch long.
