  1. currently I have the option of getting a GTX 980 Ti second handed(MSI Lighting version) for about 150$ less than a GTX 1070(translating it into my local currency ofc). Sounds like a good bargain. I'd say.
  2. Hey there, recently I've purchased a new PC all together but a GPU since I knew there was upcoming releases of new line-ups from Nvidia and AMD. My current is rig is: http://puu.sh/pMXxU/9f73776550.png (excuse me for the lazy screenshot, it's kind of late here). I'm looking to game on 1080P for now but in the near future planning to switch to 1440P(all on ultra hopefully), so I'm not so sure as to whether I should put in the extra cash into a GTX 1070 or get a second handed 980 Ti. Also my current card is a HD 7950. Sorry in advance for shitty grammar and misspellings, like I've mentioned, it's quite late here.
  3. Forgot to ask you guys, will the 500W PSU suffice for the 270X?
  4. I'll try. I think I have an Arctic aftermarket cooler, can't point the finger on the model though. I've also got a recommendation on the latest R9 270X from AMD from mister wevsspot here What's your opinion about them? Hey, whatever is cheaper, I will not use amd or ati cards because of I got tired of dealing with driver issues, which imho they still have. Then again I just might be a nividia fanboy ? Really? Cause since Nvidia hit the 300 number on the drivers they started to fail my so much. And there's the Mantle which can be considered, there again, there is the Physx from nvidia side Price difference from what I can see from my local PC store, is about a 1$ difference. I'll try upping the voltage first on my GTX 460 like IVIYTH0Ssuggested.
  5. I'll try, isn't that a bit dangerous though? Haven't tried OC ever so I don't really understand the limit of voltage for entering the "danger zone"
  6. Well the thing that scares me the most at this moment is that I'll be only be able to buy a new GPU in the next month or so, so I don't want to bake my GPU while I can still use it to browse the internet.
  7. This was posted in some articale discussing the baking method and I saw this in the bottom of it and it scared the sh*t out of me: EDITOR
  8. +1 Bake it? I would've bought it, but I don't live in the US so shipping's a b*tch.

  10. Awesome! Quick question, should I upgrade my RAM aswell in order to achieve better oc results?
  11. Hey everyone, so my computer have been suffering from artifacts and driver crashes for the last couple of days and as I looked for every single solution there is on the internet, I couldn't find anything to work other then using my warranty(which expired.) The aforementioned card is the GTX 460, a series which known to have a lot of issues, and sadly for me it seems like my only way is upgrading my card. Now I am in a bit of a pickle, seeing as my computer is something like 4-5 years old and it isn't really up to date, so my CPU is the E8400(not oc'ed atm) the mobo is some cheap Gigabyte one, can't really point the finger on the exact model, and the PSU is a Coolermaster 500W one. oh and the RAM is a G.Skill 800Mhz 4GB. So I've been looking on the GTX 660 which is pretty close to my budget and the question is, do I have to OC my CPU in order for this combo to work? And if not, which other card can I go for? Thank you in advance, Justlog.
  12. Israel, and I've pretty much ransacked the Israelin computer stores looking for a good 775 mobo.
  13. Well, I will probably need to switch my mobo aswell since he doesn't support SLI and he's pretty crappy at OC'ing(forgot that I tried once to OC my E8400 but the PC just crashed when I got to 3.2GHZ with proper cooling, AC 7 Pro rev.2) And the SLI part falls right into my lap, I have a friend with an unused GTX 460 and he'll probably be glad to sell it to me in a low price point. Wanted to know aswell, how much W will I need from my power supply if I'll go to OC'ing my E8400 and putting 2x GTX 460 in my PC?
  14. I built it, just 6 years ago. I don't remember the exact model but it is something that was made by Arctic Cooling.
