The recommended PSU for a single 465 is 550 watts with each cards max power usage at 200 watts it will be close. My barebones test rig used a total of 389 watts under load with a single card overclocked. That includes a core i7 OC to 3.6 with 6gb of memory, 5 fans and a single 1TB HDD.

You will be close but should be ok.

Try going to a hardware store and picking up a KILOWATT meter, it plugs into the wall and tells you how much your system is pulling from the wall, they work wonders for gauging how much power you are using and planning your system componants.

I run 2 gtx480s on a hx850w right now until my second hx850w gets back from rma (due to running it alone), a single hx850w is way too close to the limit and so im running 2 hx850s. I pull about 740 from the wall including my monitor and stereo in crysis, i wouldnt dare run furmark.

Its always good to have extra head room.

if the 480s are rated at 250-300w, and your 460s are rated at approx. 150, than 850w - (250-150)x2 = 650w

i just subtracted the diff in rated tdp between ur sli 460s and my sli 480s ie. 200w.

If i were you i would get a hx850 to be safe, you may want to oc your system further, cpu, graphics, memory etc.

hope this helps
