But really I don't see the point in it since all they did was put the start menu b utton on the text bar when it's been at the right top the whole time. It's not the update most of us who still love windows 7 wanted it to be, but I see no reason not to update at some point. Here's a pretty good list I saw. A few little things are nice to me but I just did the update because why not? ...none of that interests me. Classic shell takes care of the two "improvements" they made for desktop users. usama7 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 well apart from adding the Start button, they have removed the rating system. and the the white box appearing on the Window key press is definitely due to the start8. t0asty Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I like the start button addition but Classic Shell already had that. 8.1 just made me have to download the new version of CS that was compatible with 8.1 so the Windows 7 start menu pops up rather than going to Metro.
