Okay first drop the PSU down to a good 650 watt model, I would suggest something from Seasonic, whichever you choose you need less power and then keep the quality high. Bigger is not always better and 850 watts is massive overkill.

For the CPU, with the future of the AM3+ platform still in question I would get an AMD 760K and put it on am FM2+ motherboard. This will make you Kaveri ready and in 90% of games you will never notice any performance difference over the 6300. In fact my wife uses an FM2 platform for her gaming rig and plays Civilization V, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite and a ton more and here game play is butter smooth at 1080. If you need more power, with the money you saved from my two suggestions you can get a decent cooler and overclock the unlocked 760K.

For the video card I am a bit biased but the Sapphire 7870 GHZ 2 Gig Dual X card is a steal right now on Newegg at $145.

FM2+ socket is only useful if you want to use on-board video (APU) otherwise it's pointless. I don't see APU replacing a dedicated video card or out preform AM3 anytime soon.

FM2+ is the only way to do decent small form factor right now with AMD. Also the APU, with kaveri, for the first time will have full use of the parallel co-processor with a discrete video card in place as well. This has amazing potential. As for out performing, I have yet to see a game played on an i7 4770 vs a 6800K with the same card that had any difference in play experience at even 1440 resolutions. Even Civ V which really surprised me, is within only a second or so of turn manipulation in late game.
