Exactly, I've been wanting to build one for quite some time now.

 

Unless you're using multiple ODDs, using more than 4 HDDs or making a one off WC rig then you don't need a big case.

My personal system is in a Caselabs Mercury S3, a large ITX for sure but I need the specific layout for work. My favorite case for a balance of size and build option is the Node 304. I also love the PC-TU100 and TU200.

Seems like a lot of companies in the past 3-4 years see that too, there are so many more high quality ITX and mATX cases nowadays.

 

 

 

Also, more importantly, my SSD and heatsink came in yesterday.

 

I'm probably gonna start building tomorrow or at least mock everything up, get my OS ready (gotta put W7 on a thumbdrive) and probably a few other things before I jump right in...

I'm officially posting from my new system.

 

It took me 6 hours to get it all put together after a lot of frustration and trial and error.

 

Now my GPU wont be recognized, its displaying video right now, just nVidias drivers wont acknowledge it.

Everything is working quite well, I just played Bioshock: Infinite for like 5-6 hours.
