Q6600 Overclocking

Your northbridge voltage is way too high for the FSB and RAM speed you are running. It shouldn't need to be anything above 1.3V.

 

Also I doubt your VTT (FSB termination) need be that high. Did you test it or just set an arbitrary value?

I am a noobie @ ocing and i just wanna say that you guys are awesome with all your information! This is my first build (specs are entered below) and im getting 3.4ghz. under load (intel burn test at maximum for 8 hrs.) without ever going over 58c.And my cpu-v is 1.35v Thanks for all the info and God bless. motherboard-ga-ep45-ud3p, cpu- intel q6600, cooler master hyper 212 plus, gpu-zotac gt 440, case- antec 600 v2, memory-2x4gb kingston ddr2, hdd- sata 500gb seagate barracuda 7200, 4x 120mm fans antec 3 speed, 1x 240mm antec 3 speed fan, optical drive-hp-bd240, psu-kentec 750w gaming.
