SpikeSoprano Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) you will have to get a usb3 2 or 4 port front panel and run an extension cable from the back ports through the inside of the pc to the front panel. http://www.amazon.com/SY-HUB20134-InfoZone-Internal-Mounting-Charging/dp/B008PO84O2 Edited December 28, 2012 by SpikeSoprano
RedFury77 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 You should already have 2 USB3.0 ports on the back. To add more, get a pci x1 card like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815256004 or this cheaper one: http://www.amazon.com/Uspeed-PCI-E-Express-20-pin-Connector/dp/B007SJGGAE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1356679841&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+3.0+card It will add 2 ports in the rear and has the internal header to attach to front or case mounted ports. VaporX Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Unless you have some high speed USB 3.0 storage devices I would not worry about it. I have found most USB 3.0 Flash drives are really just fast USB 2.0 drives with no real speed bump. There are exception like the Hyper X but they are expensive. Tymeka Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I am back here because I want to share my experience with those who needed. Getting help from you guys I searched for a long time on Amazon. And one kind of product named PCI-E to USB 3.0 internal combo makes sense. I was very excited when I got it! This is a great addition to the computer, adding USB 3.0 and also 6 USB 3.0 card readers directly to the front for real easy access. I would like to share in points. Installation:To be honest, I am not good at computer building so I was a little hesitated about the installation before buying, but I finally decided to buy it because of the ads stating
