Would buying a normal lan card take some load off the cpu like with sound cards? Right now im using an integrated lan card.

If that doesn't fix that, call your internet provider. It happened to me once when pages started to load extremely slow. I called them, came to my house, done some stuff and found out somethings wrong, but not with my computer. They fixed it in a day and now its normal again.

Possible reasons: 1. Scan for adware or other stuff with AdAware or similar program 2. IE is crap, try using Opera or FireFox, both of them are free. 3. Something wrong with your internet provider, if it doesn't get back to normal in a day, call them

The closest to this one i found is (quote from the shops page):"Creative SB LIVE 5.1 LS, W/O Dolby decoder, bulk". Is it the same/good? Adn, InvaderTrax, im a little too far away from us, so the shipping will cost a lot and i don't want to wait to get it.

I paid ~540$, but my countrys prices suck in computer hardware. I think you can find one for about ~450$. Does your graphic card have a DVI connector? I did notice quality diffrence when i switched to DVI (the cable doesn't come with the monitor but you can buy it separetly).

But it won't use the CPU so much.

I want to buy a new sound card to improve sound quality and increase game performance. I need something extremely cheap, but it has to be better than my integreted soundcard. What would you recommend? I have 2.0 Creative speakers for ~15$. Right now im looking at the Creative Digital 4.1. I could get Creative Live! but it costs a little too much, i don't want to waste so much money. ?

Really? So that wasn't my speakers! I alwayss tought that the *hisssssss* sound was made by my crappy speakers when listening to music on high volume
