  1. The way i have it setup the airflow is amazing, never more than ambient inside the compartment. I have the 120mm fan on front as intake as well as the 80mm fan on the side. then in the back I have my dual fan psu and 2 120mm 90cfm fans as exhaust. so there is no worry at all about anything overheating espescially since all the cpu heat is being extracted through watercooling. I can have the fans all turned do their lowest settings, silent, and no change in temps. as for the pump...in that picture it was in the way, but that was before I moved it to a better location, i hadnt pushed the desk up against the wall when i took the pic so it was hanging in the way. now not a single part of the WC setup is visible other than the tubes through the desk and the waterblock. Ghost2520... the reason I didnt just do cuts in the wood for a window is bacause I needed easy access to everything and going through the front was definately not that, so having the side there basically made it like a normal case. thanks for your comments, I might try making a wood window and stealthing the drives along the lines, as for now i need to start saving money.
  2. Just spent last weekend moddin my desk so I could have my comp integrated...this is what I started with. Oh yeah, I setup watercooling while I was at it. It's still not fully finished and I'm still going to take more pics, but I like showing people what I do. When I get my battery on my camera charged again I'll post more in depth pics. This is what I ended with... I still need to get the reset button put in and clean up some edges...but it's running and I was too drunk this weekend to get anything done on it. So what do you think???
  3. My mobo as well as my other system stats are in my sig
  4. Everything is exactly the same on my computer except for the bios for my mobo, now mbm5 is saying im running @ 39C idle when I was at ~31-32C idle before...is my processor really running that hot or is mbm5 messing things up?
  5. I havnt used a pelt, but I did do a custom job for a client where i installed his computer into an airtight compartment in his desk, ran watercooling, and integrated a freezer with it, kept the liquid in the system ~ 0C, since it was fully airtight there was no worry about condensation. needless to say he was very happy, and i was so proud.
  6. If it is set on auto right now then it is set at 11. The 2500 comes stock at 166mhz fsb and 11x multi for a 1.83ghz total. What I want to know is if you have the stock cooling on your processor, because if you do I would suggest not trying to overclock until you upgrade to something better. I had been running my 2500 @ 11x210 for a long time at 1.65V. If you have a decent quality heatsink/fan combo (not stock), you should start your overclock by lowering the multiplier to 10 and increasing your fsb slowly, in 3-5mhz incrementsuntil you reach the operating speed of your ram. If you go much higher than that speed your ram will cause your computer to hang and not your cpu. Once you get your fsb where you want it go back and raise the multiplier. Once that is done, try raising the Vcore and Vdimm up a little bit to see if you can pump out a little more speed. But make sure you have good enough cooling first and formost, you dont want a fried chip on your hands, they are worthless. And as to your original question...if you look at the stepping code on the chip, the letters/numbers starting with AQ*** ####, the numbers will tell you when it was made. If it is later than the 43 week of production it is locked...0343+ and any 04##.
