Waco Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Shouldn't most of the people (or all?) on this site already know how to install windows? People who post on the forum are dwarfed by people who read the articles in terms of numbers.

I'd say that's an extremely useful default feature.
DanTheGamer11 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I guess having the 'basics' doesn't hurt xD Why no UAC changing too? Or is that being kept for an intermediate guide?
wevsspot Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 One recommendation I'd like to make on the guide. Please add a sentence or paragraph that tells the user to disconnect other storage devices except for the one that will hold the OS. If you have multiple hard drives in your system, Windows will want to write some boot files to one of the other drives. If you pull that drive, reformat that drive, or that drive fails you end up with a non-booting system - even though the majority of the Windows install is on the primary drive that you specified.
