Well previous to this I wasn't going to try GW2, but I think i'm going to pre order right now

I've got a dell mobo and a p4 @ 3ghz 2mb cache and 4gigs of ram... it ran warcraft... with xp. Then i got a 3870 and could max the settings and play comfortably. So with a dual core on windows 7 with a built in chip... you should be alright.... although you don't think 2gb ram is cutting it close?

I didn't see the part where you mentioned if there was going to be a bottleneck... maybe i'm just blind

Try the towel trick LAWL. When they first came out... that's all there was.... i tell ya... we left that thing on for hours... the excitement faded... then reality hit. The towels just don't do it! At least not for me. It's in a box somewhere...

Could it perhaps be the screen? Probably not i suppose because the cursor shows up... but the Acer screen i have takes a moment to shed light on the tasks at hand... hah.
