Do you use a surge protector/ups with you computer?

I have a surge protector for my pc and router. I have seen people using a wired router where the router was killed an took out the NIC of the connected PC too.

I use UPS's on everything I own.

I voted other because I have no idea if the surge protector like things I'm using are any good or if they're 'actual' surge protectors at all and not just power strips.

Surge protectors, GFI outlets and I have 3 lines running to this room so that each pc is on it's own breaker in the breaker box. I ran a ups for years on my main rig but just decide to not hook it back up after I remodeled for some reason.

I'd avoid any Belkin ones lol, boss ordered 20 recently and all were DOA. They replaced all of them no questions but still..

We actually just opened three, called Belkin and they said they'll replace the lot.

Which is pretty decent customer service I guess..
