d6bmg Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 I can't understand whether it is pci-e x8 slot or a x16 running at x8 speed. Actually I can't see anything specific in the small system picture there. Now, assuming that it have x8 slot, a x8 can would be a descent choice, but, getting a normal mid-end x16 card, and putting it there does also make sense, considering the low availibility of x8 or x4 cards. bigball1 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Usually its a 16x slot that only runs at 4x or 8x speed.

Waco Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Right, My primary concern is buying a compatible card(s). For what? As long as the physical slot is x16 size-wise any PCIe card will fit and work just fine.
