I checked around 2:00 yesterday afternoon and Kara, a BIOS support engineer told me she had out of warranty replacement chips in stock,.. for the X38 Maximus Formula Boards. with 2-day shipping included cost was $45.00.. MaRcIu Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) well I just removed my bios with the help of that little tool. and with the technique that you add a little solder to all 4 pins make contact to each other making possible to remove both at once. MaRcIu Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) well I did it! I couldn't wait again... and everything works fine!! at least in boot, no errors.Bad luck me or lucky me...
