in my bios it is grayed out but says 8x. in my ati control pannal in the smartgart it says 8x. but when I run a 3DMark03 Benchmark test it say it is at 0x. why is this and how do i fix it, and set it to 8x

AGP texturing - hardware support, but currently disabled I cut and pasted that line from a system check in powerstrip. how do i enable it. thanks, Jay

3DMark03. It only test 4 out of the 5 games. and it use to test all 5. the last one, i think its called "mother nature" wont test anymore. it says it needs directX9 wich I have and texture shader 2.0 which i think is the problem because in a system check i ran it said, AGP texture, curently disabled. so does anyone know how to fix this. or has anyone else had the same problem. thanks, Jay

where can i download prim95. to test the stability of my system

they sent me two heat sinks by mistake so i have to send one back. so the second one still had the original thermal gease on it. so i took of the one that i put the pad on and use the one with the grease. and what do u know, it works. 43 C. so i guess it was the pad. thanks,

i just put a bran new volcano 10 on my cpu. i removed the thermal greese it came with and am using a thermal pad that i bought. but my CPU temp is at around 72 C. what should i do.. pleas help before i blow up my system from it running to hot thanks, Jay

i have an 9700 and when i updated to the most recent drivers on the net. i started having problems. so i had to go back to the origanal ones that came with the card

when i set up my tv. to be a second monitor. every thing works expect for video. if i try to watch video that is already on my comp. it only shows up as a black screen. and the same for if i try to watch a dvd. does anyone else have this problem. and know how to fix it, thanks

in my bios my AGP performance controler and fast write are both disabled, is that how it should be. also the AGP rate is at 8 times but it is grayed out so i cant change it.. but on my 3dmark03 test it said AGP rate current 0. available 4 or 8. what does that mean

I had a 400watt. power supply. but it broke and when they replaced it thay only put in a 300 watt. do you think this is enough or should I go buy a new one.

OK, I just had it installed. i am giong to the bios now to OC. it. I will let you know how it goes i have it clocked to 2183MHz. right now. but i have a question. when i was watching the guy put the heatsink on my cpu. after he put it on he lifted it up and moved it around a little before he could clip it on tight. i hope the the thermal grease didn't get screwed up. because it isn't running hot but hotter than before like 47C at full load. the old one ran at 40- 42. also i just ordered a volcano 10, with a thermal pad, to put on it. when i take the old heatsink off. what do i clean the old grease off of the cpu with. thanks for your help so far.

in order to get to the cpu and take off the old heatsink i think i would need to remove the mobo. and doing that means tacking everything else out as well.. or maybe i can just try to do it with the mobo still in there . what do u think

It was just delivered today. i was going to try to install it myself. but it seems pritty difficult. so i am going to bring it to the guy that built it and have him do it. how far do u guys think i will be able to OC. this bad boy. Also, i have and asus a7v8x. and it unlocked my old cpu. do u think it will unlock this one, or will i have to do some wire trick crap. thanks, jay
