slick2500 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I recently had my motherboard die on me so its off on RMA, for the time being I am using a spare pc with one of my 270Xs in it. When trying to use my tv as another monitor the display is black and white and the sides and top and bottom are cut off, I didn't have this issue with my old system. So far I have Reinstalled the video drivers Swapped HDMI cables Tried a different HDMI port on my tv Display is still black and white and cut off. If I switch the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 the display fits the screen properly but it is still black and white. I have not swapped out the 270x with my other one to see if that is the issue but I'm guessing that that should be my next step. slick2500 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I can't find where to make any adjustments to the tv from the Catalyst Control Center.
slick2500 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Got the color fixed, but still cant find anything to fix the screen getting cut off. -Edit- Okay so this is weird, after I made this post an entire section just appeared in my CCC and I found the options to fix this. Strange how the section for My Digital Flat Panels just appeared. I had tried Googleing this and the results were saying about changing the overscan setting but it just wasn't there.
