Sounds like everything feels the same, I will go with the e8400 and OC the beast I know in the past I have had a lot of success OCing intel based boards which is why I picked this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128358 -Motherboard It sounds like a good pick for a mobo, but as far as memory is something like this okay? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820227267 -Memory Or can anyone recommend better?

My dilemma here is I am starting a new build and I am trying to debate if I should get a e8400 and OC that with promising gains like I have seen so far. Or should I get a I7 core instead and mildly overclock it with moderate gains? I will mainly game on this computer and be playing at 1980x1080 or higher it really depends on the resolution of the television I am going to use for my setup but at least 1980x1080. The thing that has me wondering the most is is it worth it to get an i7 processor right now? Mind you I am not upgrading my current system this new one will be from the ground up and the tech inside of me is leery about using an older socket for a PC that is meant to last for awhile. Reviews I have read as well seem to show that the i7 is pretty much on par with older cpus as far as games, mind you I dont encode or do anything else much with this computer other than game or surf the net and do random things, but nothing specific. If you afford the monthly fee WoW is a lot better than GW will ever hope to be. I bought GW and I can honeslty say that I played it for a hour and was VERY dissapointed threw the CD across the room. The played WoW and havent looked back since. I will give it this though, its good for a FREE game but to put it up aganist WoW or any P2P MMORPG is just crazy and will have the same result.

ZA has screwed over my comp once again and gave me BSOD im tryed of trying to fix it b ut is there any other good firewalls out there besides Nortan which hogs like no tommrrow?? I dont care if its free or not I just need a good dependable on that wont give you the BSOD *coughZAcough*

I have Firefox but for some reason they keep poping up T_T. I was hoping a real bonified pop up killer would be able to kill it.

Im looking for a good pop up killer, since I had to take off ZA because of probs with my comp. I have no pop up killer and on some of the sites adware gets on my comp from the pop ups and I have to keep taking it off with Spysweeper. I was thinking if I had a pop up killer it would help, can anyone suggest some good and perfirbly free ones??

I was wondering is there someone you can pay to install cat 5 cables in your wall. So you wont have to need wireless or have to drag cables in your house. Because we are moving to a new house and they are building it now and I was wondering what should I tell the electrions that are putting the wires in the walls. I know that there is a way to do this because they have a setup like this at my school and someone here even did it before theirselfs. I just need a or something I can tell the people so they know what I am talking about. I am looking for another firewall, I dont want to use nortan because it sucks so bad and is a ram hog. I cant use zonealarm because it gave me the BSOD and I dont want to risk that again. I cant think if any other firewalls to use I am thinking about just using the sp2 firewall but I wanted to ask you guys is there anything else out there before I use that. Thanks

Ok this whole time when I said AVG I meant Zomealarm T_T you all were heading in thr right direction thoug. I uninstalled Zomealarm in safe mode and everything started workiing. I guess the new patch didnt like me or something. I will have to look for a new antivirus though. Thanks a lot to the people that posted and helped me out. I would still be at the blue screen of doom if it wasnt for you all.

So what can I do you said it happened to you Shadow right? What did you do to fix the problem. Im not sure but it might be the RAM but I want to see if its the software first.
