Judging from the posts here, it looks like it was a global issue... or at least North America and the UK. I wonder just how much that impacted Google in the ~30 minutes or so it was down. The image search was screwed up as well, every picture linked to the error page as well. I wonder if they had a problem with their "known bad sites" DB or something? suchuwato Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Well, there was upgrade rumours going around, but it's possible that google themselves had something latch onto themselves that registered a positive... perhaps it got into their ad system by mistake?
