TropicalPreist Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 You know you need to turn the PPU (PhysX) off for the scores to count? Nope but will do that now. Thank You

Mikesnow Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) Also looks like you missed at least one of the ones with PPU on Here and tbh if they aren't giving a link to the orb for the submission theres prolly not much way to know for sure if they used a ppu or not. On the link it at least verifies they had it on unless is says OK in that validity column. I'll update the scores later today. Edit: Thanks to TropicalPreist. I now know that the score being pumped up by PhysX is the CPU test 2. It goes up from 31.65 to 160.55, when using a 4GHz i7. So it's pretty easy to determine if PhysX was used or not. Edited September 10, 2009 by The Smith
road-runner Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Some of those were probably run back before they decided not allow them, things change though, oh well such is life.
pezcore Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 So I can post an Orb link, but it won't do much good since it still says it's invalid because I'm not using an official nVidia driver (Win7 drivers don't count I guess) so I pasted a copy of the options tab Here's my screencap. Clearly a lower score than I posted before so it would be silly to lie about this one...

pezcore Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hmm, why is my setup so bad at 3DMark? It did poorly in 06 too so I didn't bother posting it, but plays games just fine. Is it because my CPU & RAM are not OC'd at all and the GPU was barely OC'd ?

Same as you but, we also have different GFX cards. btw your setup is not bad at 3dmark.
