Well after getting rid of my ASUS card, I got a XFX 5870 as many of you may know from the other thread.. after replacing the cable, doing a clean install of windows 7, using the lastest and beta drivers from ATI.. I get blue lines on the screen now..... |

I paid to much. Still only 300 more then my gaming computer..SO! Are there any suggestions on what I can do for this 5870 issue. DO I wait and try something new, or try the 5870 1 more time.. or just to a GTX 275 in SLI?... |

I did troubleshoot my other parts. I used an nvidia card and didin't have any problems what so ever.... |

Initially it was a sweep.. then it was a full reinstall.. format and everything.. i tired windows 7 x64 x32 vista and xp.. all similar problems..... |

I use a antec cp-850.. I just tried an old Nvidia 7300.. plays HD videos with no artifacting what so ever.. plays games.. slow.. but no artifacting.. none of these issues im having with my 5870... |

Newegg.com did not send the same card back... what they did was give me a refund because there where no 5870s in stock.. Later that day, XFX 5870s came into stock, so I got that one "instead of the ASUS card I had"... |
