As stated in the new Post Your Windows Desktop Thread, this is the Linux, Unix, BSD variant.
Feel free to post images of your Linux, Unix, BSD, Mac, Lindows, or BeOS desktop. As with the Windows thread, we're going to ask that anyone that post to use the file attachment rather than linking. Images that are extremely large will be edited or removed, and a message will be added asking the author to attach the image instead. As many of you know, there is a limit on attachment space. Information on that is available here. This is my desktop. nothing really special... but it makes me happy. im runing Debian w/ Gnome2.8. the background usually changes daily tho :-P

Here's mine...I like things simple and clean. xfce4 running on xorg 6.8 and Gentoo Linux 64-bit. It's a beautiful thing.
