Well, sine we did this for Firefox and Opera, I guess it is only fair that we ask the same question for AOL's Netscape web browser.

Now that Netscape 8.0 has been out for a little while, it is our turn to ask the same questions about it. Have you tried it? Are you using it? What do you think about it?

As always, this poll will run for a week (ends Sunday). Let the voting begin!

It's OK I guess, using it a little but still haven't switched everything from 7.2. Not my main browser, but Netscape seems to be the best of all browsers I've tried at getting you in to email accounts quickly, especially some of the finicky emails that come with web hosts. It also gets me in to a particular (not OCC!) forum site that makes me log in every time on every other browser.

Also, Netscape seems to be very fast on my particular comp/ISP. Still not switching from Opera, though. I can't believe that all browsers don't yet have mouse gestures.

This poll isn't asking if you tried older versions. :P This is about 8.x only.

I use 8.0 and Firefox. I like the feature in 8.0 that remembers passwords and ALSO logs in automatically after filling in the username and password fields.

That could become very annoying in certain situations.

I haven't tried it, and most likely won't - I'm sticking with FF and Mozilla.

I stopped using Netscape completely when it became AOHell's, I think 4.7 was the first AOHell version, and the last one I used - it's worse than IE. OTOH, I think it's awesome that it breaks IE, and that IE won't run right until Netscape is gone! Sweet - someone is doing to MS what they've done to everyone else for years. HA!
