So far so good, I wish though that when you minimized it, that it went straight to an icon on the right side of the taskbar instead of doing so when you press the X (which should totally close the program). From the short amount of time that I used the call feature, I think it is grade A material. Last but not least, the gmail notification is good, but doesn't open the browser window to view mail if you are using Opera... yet (I know me and D3 are both writing angry letters tonight
for any of my OCC buddies who wanna contact me, my username is the same as it is here but with @gmail.com at the end -------------------- ![]() |

All right, I think it has a very simplistic look to it. I like how the each side of the conversation bunches together under the name, making it look very clean. I love how there are no ads (though I used DeadAIM to remove mine from AIM's interface). The color matches my desktop theme (though I know people whose themes it really clashes with).
I think it needs a lot more features before it can seriously compete with the likes of AIM (I know this is a beta program, so there should be more on the horizon). If they just make the program skinnable, then it'll be a big hit with the younger crowd, though for some reason it seems as though it's currently aimed at the elder generations (20+) Hmm, I think that about covers my review over a beta program that I've been using for maybe a few hours at most. -------------------- :: DIGG OCC! :: OCC Rules :: OCC Gaming :: ![]() Intel Core2Quad Q6600 | Foxconn MARS P35 2GB Patriot PC2-9600 (5-5-5-12) | ATI Radeon HD3850 2x 74GB Raptors in RAID 0 | 500GB WD | 750GB WD Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS | Antec P180B Macbook Core2Duo 2GHz 2GB RAM 120GB HDD |

Hey! You got most of that from me! Anyway, as I said before, it's nice and simple, it's not cluttered. It's white, very white, but easy to use. It does clash with my GT3 skin though... I believe it's very well done for a beta, I have yet to experience anything abnormal that would be typical of most beta products. I sense this messenger going far in the future. I sense it also having the ability to contend with msn. 8/10 -------------------- QUOTE (Kash to KB (2008.06.20)) Obviously you have no appreciation for boob when you're clamoring for penis  Cooler Master Centurion 5 + 2x 120mm MDMM > 430w Athena Power > Gigabyte 8IPE1000-G Rev. 4 > Intel P4 2.4c @ 3.0 + Zalman 7000B-Cu > 2048MB G.Skill 2GBNS @ 415 2.5-4-4-8 > Asus N7600GS Silent 435/400 + ATi Theatre 550 Pro > 80GB + XP Pro SP3/250GB Seagate Barracudas (SATA) > NEC ND-3550A > X-Fi Extreme Music + BB 2132 Cmoy + AKG K240S > Logitech G5 > Saitek Gamer (Finally stable!) |

I like the look, dont really have anyone on the list that I can talk to... Dont you think it wil be difficult for them to capture market share with this if it ever gets past beta? -------------------- ![]() Dell Inspiron 1705 Notebook E7200 Core 2 Duo 1GB DDR2 Memory 80GB Hard Drive GeForce Go 7900 GS 17" WSXGA Monitor |
