Maybe if it becomes popular but I don t think Ill get it in the near futchure. Maybe on my next rig.
but I figure it will cost about.
150 power supply
200 motherboard
800 for 2 6800 gt
so about 1,150 dollars.
Hears a link to the nivida site if you don t know what SLI is/means.

"No, it's a waste"
Unless you're doing a complete overhaul (new computer), there's absolutely no point to consider SLI since you'd have to get a new mobo and psu anyways, but even so, the performance increase isn't worth it IMO. You're better off saving your money and putting it towards upgrading some other component (or just save it for a future upgrade).
As for me personally, I recently upgraded to a 6800GT, so I definitely don't plan on getting SLI anytime soon, even if it miraculously becomes "popular" and "worth it".

I'm thinking of considering SLI on my next computer but i'm planning on having this one last me for atleast 2 years. I'll probably only go for it once ATI gets some products into the game and when prices come down. Plus there will need for it until some games come out that will need that much power other wise i see no reason for it. Until that stuff happens i'll be stickin with agp

Nopes. Don't really think you'd need it, not at this point in time atleast. So I said.. waste
