i upped my FSB and lowered the clock, but i heard that 1.675 volts was low for 2.4 Ghz and mines set at 1.600
let me know asap so i dont screw anything up i just lowered the fsb to 170 it was getting too hot, 46 at idle and theres no way it could have been stable =/ This post has been edited by Siebenburgen: Aug 24 2004, 03:52 PM -------------------- amd xp 2.4ghz

Looks like a solid XP-M OC to me. Are your temps OK?

yea, that looks oky doky 2 me as well...just keep those temps inline and i'd say you could go a wee bit higher.

the temps were 46C at idle so i took it back down.. im just gonna wait till i get my 2 new fans... one to replace my 2700rpm heatsink fan... any recommendations? i havent ordered it yet... but im planning on getting this one here:

well I will give it another shot either later tonight or tomorrow morning, im not worried about heat... i live in canada... my igloo is nice and cool
but yeah.. heats not a problem.. im running it at 2.22 right now and doing a burn-in test 46C and i just started a minute ago.. we'll see and yeah my fan is a thermaltake SILENT boost -------------------------------------------------- i upped the FSB and its running at about 45C idle and 52-53 unde load my MOBO is DFI infinity Nforce2 This post has been edited by Siebenburgen: Aug 24 2004, 08:15 PM -------------------- amd xp 2.4ghz

I would get a thermalright slk900a or an sp-97 depending on which mobo you have.
