wildman2 Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Is there a flow chart for the technical part of the operation of crossfire on AMD's video cards floating around out there in cyberspace?

wildman2 Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 I am looking for a flow chart that shows for example ,say you start a game and it will show the path of the signal of the game to mb thru its electronics to the cards out to monitor. Basically point a to z with the various points in between. For Intel or Amd MB.Seen one on annatech (sp) but it wasn't quite as detailed as I wanted and it was using a crossfire bridge/ cable. Those are not required anymore right? Hehehe made it to bing . The charts and compatibility not quite what I was looking for .Thx for the links though.
ir_cow Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Yeah a lot has changed. Cables and bridges are no longer required for Crossfire. Simply have two compatible cards and turn the setting on in the control panel. I think if you still have like a X1900X you still need to use cables, but any modern AMD card no longer requires anything besides the cards themselves.
