El_Capitan Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 If you can hold out a little longer, AMD should be releasing some new CPU's, GPU's, and APU's pretty soon. You can either move on up to those, or if budget is a concern, other older components might end up going down in price.

El_Capitan Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Once a release happens, in about a month, prices for all previous gen usually drops in price. For

IVIYTH0S Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 You're building a new machine? You won't be disappointed by 7950, that was my favorite card I think. I have a 7970 now which is obviously a little better but my 7950 was a quantum leap over the card I had before it and it just ran so cool and performed so well! El_Capitan Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 HD 7950's and 7970's are still one of my favorite cards of all time. I won't argue with your choice. Though for your next step, get an SSD over a memory upgrade. You'll notice the difference with an SSD, not so much with a memory upgrade.
