NCC10281982B Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 In reference to This topic The explanation suggests that I have malware. I ran scans and everything should be fine now. I still get this message on both OCC & other sites about 3/4 of the time though. This only occurs when I have privoxy routed through TOR. Google thinks I'm in France right now. 5 minutes ago it was Romania. I run this setup for network wide & on my mobile device adblocking. WarWeeny Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 How? By not using TOR lol. Another thing you could do is scan your computer with hitman pro, if there is anything malware related or virus related in your comp, hitman will detect it. NCC10281982B Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 The predictable answers always brighten my day. Anyway, Ran the scan. Still got the message accessing OCC. Waco Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 You permanently get rid of it by not using TOR. It's coming up because you're sharing IP space with those who are infected either accidentally or intentionally. There's nothing you can do other than not use TOR since it isn't your computer triggering the warning.
NCC10281982B Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Translation: "You shall be punished for the misdeeds of others" Time to hunt for alternatives. This is cute: Yes, I know its a perma banned IP.

Waco Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Why use something like it at all for normal browsing?
NCC10281982B Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Mild privacy concerns. Privoxy shows the VPS IP anyway.
