Took about 6 hours to put all the parts in do cable managment and install windows.

Sofar the only thing i can compair game wise is Archeage. My old system only running a single 580 was doing mid 30's during the game.  The new build does just over 100FPS with dipps in the mid 90's wehn in a 50 man raid. Thats with fully maxed setting on both cards.

You took 4 hours to install windows? :teehee:

Nice PC, hope you have a lot of fun with it!

Took a while to do the carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the MB tray and 5.25" cage.  First time doing vinyl     Im also very anal on cable managment, i go through way to many zip ties.  I always get like 3-4 wires ran then am like crap i dont like how the first one is ran and will redo like 2 out of the 4 that are done.    I'm still trying to figure out a way to cover the wires coming out of the PSU,  they are driving me carzy cause i cant get them in any order before they exit behind the MB tray.    Still debating replacing the CPU cooler fans with black ones and wrapping the top of the cooler.

  • 3 weeks later...

I did a quick just playing around with it overclock with evga percision and was able to do +200 on the core and ram.

I have since added a 6TB Western Digital Red drive to the computer and now have all 212 steam games installed  that only took 1TB to do.    Im now in the middle of ripping all my cd/dvd games to iso's to the drive and installing all those.  I replaced the tan fans on the D-14 with new SilenX EFX-12-15 120mm Effixio Quiet Case fans.   And made a fiberglass box that covers the PSU to hide the wire mess in the front of it.   Ill update pictures tonight after i get back from the range.

Looking like a very nice build indeed! Excellent job with the cable management and the overall look. :)

How many hours do you now have total in it, with the additions that you have made? Total price for all parts?

Looking forward to the pictures that are coming soon.

Probably could have done a little extra to the PSU cover, put it together with paint in about 12 hours.  Has a 140mm fan that puls air in from the bottom of the case that blows straight up into the video card.
