I have had my headphones for many years

I've replaced the earpads many times, soldered in new cables

the frame broke and I even bandaged it so it looks like a frankenstein

one thing I recently did was change the earpads to velour since alot of people recommended it

Honestly, it is pretty nice change

the velour pads are much stiffer, so it sits farther from the ear

the material is also breathe-able so it does not get as hot
i can even hear sound going on around me almost as if I was not wearing headphones

anyway, if you have a decent set of headphones with replaceable earpads you might consider velour next time

I got these and you can also get them on ebay; they fit other brands but double check your model before ordering for your headset

I have these on my headphones. They are super stiff haha. I thought they would soften up over time, but they hold up well.

I prefer the softer plush feel of Beyerdynamic velour pads, but they are like $30. They have a different attachment method.

My Sennheiser Amperiors came with velour pads, very comfortable and soft. They still hurt my ears after a few hours but all on ear phones do that to me.

I am the reason we can't have nice things.

Man these spammers are geniuses...put (NO SPAM) in the thread title to hide the spam.  It's brilliant.  Hopefully this doesn't catch on...what if rapists wear signs that say (NOT A RAPIST)?  They will be raping everybody! D:
