Any reason why I shouldn't? I live in a small spaced area so I can't be getting anything huge and I think this would be perfect for pc racing games.

Really wish I could experience an SSD but of course my bank tells me that I can not.

My brother has one and we used it on Shift 2 and ToCA 3.

This wheel will clamp itself on the edge of the desk ( up to two inches thick top board). A wheel needs a "steady" chair as you will not be able to hold yourself with your feet, because of the pedals.

What was great about this, was the clutch. A couple of games support the clutch as well as the 6 gears "H" shifter. You have a F1-style shifter (butterfly shifter behind the wheel). The response is
awesome, the force-feedback can't be better, and the 1080° just tops it. Since I never really drove manual, I had the joy to stall a V8 supercar :bow:haha. Once I got the hang of this I really enjoyed it. You can feel the road and feel the pilot constraints when you hit a curve, then you try to keep the RPM as high as possible. Oh, if you have a PS3, it works with GT5.

For the cons, the "H" shifter is actually known to be problematic on many units. On Logitech forums, there is a lot of talk about that. The cure was that Logitech replaced his defective wheel with a new one, without any hassle, except the wait. Take note that this was two years ago, meaning that they could have resolved this problem (defective switches). Some games do not support the "H" shifter, but I am not up-to-date and not aware of which does really. The pedals have a spring noise (croink) and it is a bit pricey.

There, I think I said as much as I know and I feel about that steering. If you are a racing fan, there is no comparison between a gamepad and a steering. Steering is at least 10 times more precise. Otherwise, get that SSD you are saying you want to afford in your sig !

I had one loved it, thinking about getting another one.

I just got rid of it due to lack of games at the time.

He sold it to me. And... Yeah, I sold it for the same reason. Wish I had one now. :(

I always get that way when wanting to buy something, then get distracted at looking at something else, then end up buying something completely different. :(

I was just thinking how awesome this wheel would be with the rift, I could honestly care less about what other new hardware came out as long as I had rift and this wheel, maybe a stick for flight sims too.   :D
