power color 7970 $269 with a $30 rebate, I have two or three of these been doing fine...

So one card is good for 100K a day?

So one card is good for 100K a day? 

 

Yes frank if you clock it to about 1000 it will get 100,000 ppd I am getting about 107,000 at 1000 clock...

 

This is a single 7970 on my team

confirmed, im getting roughly 100k when i remember to turn off automatic updates and windows doesent restart in the middle of the night

You must have just installed that card or you're Folding for another team, as you've been getting ~ 50KPPD for a while now.

I know because you are then only OCC member that is gaining on me ;)

recently got it, first two days, over 100k, the third day i can thank fallout new vegas for about 66k 4th day was like 96k thanks to that gaming session that lasted into the night, and 5th day, windows updates trolling me in my sleep, 12k ever since its been over 100k actually 132k yesterday and 120k so far today 

 

im gaining pretty good, but ive been to busy/lazy to get the other machines going, the 965 build was overheating on the cpu so it is off and the 650ti not going, but the haswell build has been waiting for wet sanding and buffing the new fancy paint job before i slap the gtx275's in and get them cranking

Ok Im ditching the GTX 580's

 

I ditched 2-570s and 2 448 core 560ti not long ago these 7970s rock, of course if you can get your hands on the new r9 290x I think it will do right at 200k with a little overclock...
