Because I can't really find an entertainment center tall and cheap enough for my needs I was wondering if I might be able to simply turn a dresser into a entertainment center? I'm guessing all I'd need to do is drill a few holes for airflow to make sure console will not over heat?

Something like this?

Good idea? Yay or nay?

Really wish I could experience an SSD but of course my bank tells me that I can not.

+1

and hardwood is still the best. those so called engineered wood products in your link just look nice but not that solid as the real ones imo.

Go to garage sales. yard sales or even your local dump.

People throw away old real wood pieces like the yellow one in your picture ALL the time.

They may need a bit of TLC but for an entertainment center they'll work fine.

If you see the cops - LEAVE.

If the cops are coming - Don't be there.
If you show up and the cops are already there - DISAPPEAR.
Anyplace the cops are and you aren't, is a good day
