so i came from work and my son tells me my pc keeps restarting with no post

so i traced the issue to my mushkin 120gb ssd

so after installing new drive i ran a backup and restored my system to its former glory and i notice xfire was not working

so went into device manager and no second card

i switched cards around tried running just that card and nada

what couldve happend

Same thing happens when I let my brother touch my PC.

But I would guess a surge???? or PSU problem shorted some stuff out.

I agree with Black.  Power surge or faulty power supply.  Really the only things that could take out two components at the same time, unless something shorted out inside the case that you aren't aware of.
