What's the dealio with that? Is it similarly priced? I dunno, if it wasn't MUCH cheaper, I'd prefer to go with something I know, which admittedly isn't much. :glare:

Then you're missing out. Mine is a Samsung panel. Doesn't Dell use almost primarily Samsung panels (or are they LG)?

Plus, they're 2560x1600 and HDCP certified.

Then you're missing out. Mine is a Samsung panel. Doesn't Dell use almost primarily Samsung panels (or are they LG)?

Plus, they're 2560x1600 and HDCP certified.

 

I have a branded Samsung monitor right now.

 

I'm honestly not in the market for one...I've just always wanted to upgrade to IPS. First I need a job...freaking game studios think entry level = having shipped a AAA title.

Sorry, 2560x1440. Mine is definitely HDCP certified and I believe all of the Samsung paneled ones are.

Sorry, 2560x1440. Mine is definitely HDCP certified and I believe all of the Samsung paneled ones are.

 

Most aren't Samsung panels though, unless that's changed. I haven't looked into them in a while
