Hey OCC,

Finally formally making a post here to advert/open my Minecraft server (now servers) to the OCC community.

Due to request, I have recently started a Feed the Beast "Ultimate" server, and I'd really like to get this server hopping.

Though if heavily-modded servers aren't your thing, I also run a vanilla server.

You may connect at:

        Vanilla:  mc.bagcraft.tk

        FTB:      mc.bagcraft.tk:7175

FTB players: Please disable ChickenChunks from the Ultimate Modpack. It was causing memory leaks server-side. No longer necessary.

Server info:

Vanilla - Minecraft v1.7.2, 3.5GB max memory allocation

FTB -  Ultimate Modpack v1.1.2 (base MC v1.4.7), 3.5GB max memory allocation

Hardware: AMD Athlon X2 7750BE 2.7GHz, 5GB ddr2 total, 25/5 Cable Internet connection. (hardware subject to upgrades  )

Mumble and Ventrilo servers also available!

Vent: www.bagcraft.tk (default port I think (3784))

Mumble: www.bagcraft.tk:2064

EDIT: 11/9/2013

  • Vanilla updated to 1.7.2
    • World refresh, due to extensive changes in 1.7 update
  • In process of updating the FTB server to Unleashed modpack v1.1.5 (MC1.5.2).
    • Due to mod incompatibilities, world refresh.
    • Ultimate server will remain online for the time being
  • Due to unfortunate disregard for the builds of others, vanilla has been whitelisted.
    • If you wish to play vanilla, post in the forum or pm me with your mc handle

EDIT: 7/10/2013

  • Vanilla updated to 1.6.2
  • New domain: bagcraft.tk
    • ?accidentally let bagnet.tk domain expire :pfp:

EDIT: 6/6/2013

  • Updated FTB server to Lastest recommended Ultimate v1.1.2
    • ChickenChunks no longer crashes server. No need to disable it anymore

Nope, build wherever you like. I would personally suggest leaving a decent buffer from other players' builds, however.

If i may, where are you thinking of building that you felt the need to ask?

I'm about 200+ blocks away from some big concrete walled off area and a farm. Not sure who owns it. It's pretty close to spawn. I like being somewhat close to other players as long as they aren't thiefs lol

In the Savannah to the North of the spawn?

and yeah I like to stay close to other players too as I typically play cooperatively.

I'll hop in at some point. I've been having fun with this modpack for a while.
