Razer products seem to be overpriced and overrated, I wouldn't get it personally but I like the name.

I'd prefer the Grado SR 60i at that price point. But it depends what you want. I tend to avoid headphones from PC accessory and component companies.

You could try the audio technica a700's theyre ugly but they're real good, they get the job done!

If you don't need the mic, I would try and find a good deal on the Audio Technica AD700s (currently $100 on Amazon) or the Grado SR 60i like Stoner suggested.
If you need a mic, jeez I dunno... there really isn't much I would endorse. Though I haven't tried them myself, I would look into the Steelseries Siberia v2. Though I would pretty much take anything over Razer. Like Freddie, I find them to be overpriced and overrated. I think they focus too much on looks than functionality. While I like style, I don't like functionality reduced because of it. Though the Kraken doesn't scream either.

Might be worth a look too. Seems like most people do the rastapants mod to them though so it makes me wonder how good they sound and how comfortable they are without that mod.
